Transport options to UNSW

Students and staff will be required to take the Light Rail or regular bus services.

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has advised UNSW Sydney that direct bus routes between Central Station and UNSW’s Kensington campus have been withdrawn.

These include:

  • 891 Central Eddy Ave to UNSW High St
  • 893 UNSW High St to Central Eddy Ave
  • 898 UNSW High St to Central Eddy Ave

From Monday 21 December 2020, students and staff have to catch L2 or L3 Light Rail services or regular bus services from Central, including routes 393 and 395 or 392, 394, L94, 396, 397 and 399 from Circular Quay, Martin Place and St James.

It is an important priority for us that the University community is easily and safely able to reach campus each day, and we continue to work with TfNSW on how to best meet the needs of our students and staff.
