UNSW is inviting Expressions of Interest from staff to become employee representatives of the UniSuper Consultative Committee.

The main functions of the Committee are to consider and vote on proposed Trust Deed changes and to nominate four directors to the UniSuper Limited Board.  Each of the 37 shareholder universities has four Consultative Committee representatives, two representing employers and two representing employees, one of which is an Academic staff representative and one a Professional staff representative.

The four-year term of the current academic and professional staff representatives for UNSW on the UniSuper Consultative Committee has concluded.

Any academic or professional staff member who is a full member of UniSuper and is a continuing or fixed term member of staff can nominate to join the UniSuper Consultative Committee.

Expressions of Interest from eligible academic and professional staff members may be submitted by email to Deena Amorelli, Chief Human Resources Officer, Human Resources at chro@unsw.edu.au by 5pm Friday 4 August 2023.

Expressions of interest should be 200 words or less and describe why you are interested in applying.

Where more than one expression of interest is received for each of the professional and academic staff categories, an online ballot will be run by Governance to elect the staff representative. The online ballot will include the expressions of interest statements provided by candidates.

If there is a need to run a ballot, staff eligible to vote will be advised via email.
