UNSW is inviting staff, students and the wider community to join us on the Village Green for live screenings of all the biggest matches.

Sydney is getting ready to kick off the FIFA Women's World Cup with a bang. The Matildas will be screened on home turf and, with our women's side ranking of 10th in the world, we are quietly confident that we will be in the finals too. The first three pool games are:

  • AUS v NIG | Thursday 27 July 8pm

  • AUS v CAN | Monday 31 July 8pm

Head of Arc Sport, James Yau said, “FIFA Women’s World Cup is one of the largest sporting events in the world and we are so thrilled to host these family-friendly screenings. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re cheering for green and gold, or just getting swept up in the FIFA fever.”

Alongside each match, there will be barbecues, FIFA video games, soccer games for kids and more. Beanbags will be available, but we recommend you pack a blanket and picnic chair as places are limited. Football enthusiasts can also enter the Arc Sport FIFA bracket challenge.
