The UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre reopened in style on Thursday 25 March 2021.
The new management from Clublinks went all out on the relaunch to mark the return of this incredible UNSW facility after it was forced to shut its doors in 2020. Even the sun came out to join the fun after one of the wettest weeks Sydney has seen in a long time.
The launch was a great success and a great crowd joined the fun and met the new Clublinks team. For those daring enough to try, the group fitness team held a boot camp style challenge on the lawn outside the centre and one lucky person won a free 12-month membership.
The grand re-opening featured a range of freebies and goodies from UNSW Boost Juice, Red Bull, Fit Nutrition and Laz’s café, which put on a free BBQ for everyone to enjoy. The BBQ was so popular it ran out of sausages, twice! The Red Bull team kept the energy levels up with their free cans of Red Bull and a DJ playing tunes from their truck.
