This Saturday potential students and their families will learn all about life and study at UNSW, with hundreds of exciting events bringing the best of the university to life.

Open Day is a fantastic chance for all faculties to showcase their diverse range of educational offerings. This Saturday, potential students will learn about a wide range of degree and career options, as well as scholarships and opportunities to study abroad.

Around 35,000 people are expected to visit the Kensington and Paddington campuses. They will take part in more than 300 events and activities, including a flight simulator, physiology test and jewellery workshop, as well as see the university’s world-class facilities in action.

“We are always excited in the build-up to Open Day. The entire UNSW community bands together to showcase the UNSW experience. You can’t help but be inspired by the enthusiasm of our students and academics,” said Chris Lewis, UNSW’s Head of Partnerships (Onshore).

“We often get asked by visitors how to plan their Open Day. We recommend prospective students chat with an academic in their area of interest at our Advisory Centre and sit in on a few mini lectures to find out more about their shortlisted courses.

“They should also explore our faculties and facilities – there are lots of great hands-on experiences they can check out on the day.

“Thank you to the entire UNSW community involved in pulling this huge day together.”
