UNSW staff, your families and friends can enter the 2026 Clancy the Lion Art Competition and bring this year’s clean-energy theme to life.
Successful artworks from the 2026 Clancy the Lion Art Competition will be exhibited at UNSW Community Day on Wednesday 25 November.
What powers Clancy’s roar?
Solar sunshine? Whirling wind? A super-secret clean-energy invention?
UNSW staff, your families and friends are invited to create an original artwork inspired by the theme ‘What Powers Clancy’s Roar?’
Who can enter
UNSW staff and their families and friends.
How to enter
Draw, paint, sketch or digitally create your version of Clancy. Artwork must be portrait-oriented, A3-sized and without a background.
Only original artworks will be accepted.
Submit your artwork via the online form or find out how to submit your artwork in person.
Don’t miss the deadline
There are less than two weeks left to submit your entry. Entries close at 5pm on Wednesday 23 September.
What’s the prize?
Successful artworks will be displayed at UNSW Community Day 2026. Selected hero artworks will each receive a $200 gift voucher.
