A series of events features six challenges aligned with the Law & Justice 2030 strategy and Progress for All.

The Progress for All with Law & Justice conversation series is highlighting the work of UNSW researchers, centres and institutes on the challenges outlined in the Law & Justice Strategy 2030

These sessions are an opportunity for the UNSW community to learn more about the impact of Law & Justice faculty’s work and find opportunities to collaborate.

The series kicked off on Tuesday 10 June with ‘Protecting refugee rights – Where to now?’. It explored the current state of refugee policy in Australia and discussed how both the Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law and the Refugee Advice and Casework Service (RACS) are working to drive meaningful impact.

Future sessions will consider First Nations justice, defending democratic constitutionalism, the climate crisis and AI and disruptive technology. Check UNSW Events page and Viva Engage for details of upcoming events in the series as they become available.

Register now for the next event in the series, ‘Health, Justice in Action – Research, Advocacy and Practice on Thursday 25 September, 12–1.30pm, a hybrid event.

Join Scientia Associate Professor David Carter from Health+Law and Dianne Anagnos from the Kingsford Legal Centre for a conversation about ‘health justice’ – where law and health intersect, the partnerships driving impact and opportunities for new collaborations across the University.

A light lunch will be provided.
