The Student Experience Survey is an opportunity to hear from our students about their overall experience at UNSW.

The annual Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) Student Experience Survey (SES) will be open from Thursday 11 September to Sunday 12 October for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students.

“This is an important, national benchmarked survey that helps UNSW understand where our students are thriving and where we can improve our teaching quality and engagement, learning resources, skills development, peer connection and support,” says Professor Sarah Maddison, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Education & Student Experience.

Encourage students to participate

Resources to encourage student participation are available on the Teaching Gateway, including lecture slides, a staff email signature, TV screen and a dedicated student information webpage.

“Promoting the survey to students tangibly increases participation rates. Your support in boosting engagement is also a way of demonstrating that we care about the student voice and about using student insights to make our teaching and the student experience even better,” says Professor Merlin Crossley, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Quality.

Students will receive their survey link in an email from the Social Research Centre, which is conducting the survey. They can also access their link via Moodle. All students who complete the survey will go in the draw to win weekly prizes, including four $1000 e-gift cards and four $250 e-gift cards*.

Please contact the Student Survey team if you have any questions.
