The series shares stories from founders, engineers and passionate creatives who are building fulfilling lives on their own terms and making the world a better place in the process.
The series is hosted by UNSW’s Dr Justine Rogers an Associate Professor in Law & Justice and stand-up performer. You may be familiar with Justine’s work as both a specialist in ethics, justice and new technologies as well as a participant at the 2025 Sydney Writer’s Festival Great Debate.
Each episode features stories from the UNSW community of alumni and students making a genuine difference. From an entrepreneur solving the water crisis out of thin air, to an executive whose every career choice has been guided by their moral compass, to a sustainability engineer who left an established career at the United Nations to co-found a startup. Tune in to hear how they’ve rejected what's expected of them, ignored the doubt from outside and within, and built careers and organisations out of their life’s mission.
