Shape what comes next: complete the alumni survey

24 Mar 2026
A group shot of many alumni in an arena.

UNSW places great respect and value in our alumni as critical members of our community.

Earlier in March, a new alumni survey launched to request, listen to and understand how our graduates want to connect with UNSW and with each other.

The results will help inform the next phase of our Alumni Experience Strategy.

This will have an impact on:
    •    event and networking programming
    •    alumni career and professional development resources
    •    lifelong learning opportunities
    •    mentoring and recognition program enhancement and support.

How can you support UNSW through the alumni survey?

Many members of our UNSW community are also proud alumni.

If you’re a UNSW graduate, you're strongly encouraged to share your perspective in the 10-minute survey. You should have received a personalised link via email. If you didn’t receive this, it might mean your alumni contact details are out of date.

You can access the survey now and you’ll also be prompted to update your details.

By sharing your ideas, you’ll be helping to shape an alumni experience that reflects the ambition, energy and global outlook of our community and our shared commitment to advancing progress for all.

The survey closes at 7pm on Friday, 10 April 2026.

Alumni impact

Across UNSW, alumni play an important role in supporting the broader University ecosystem, from mentoring students to supporting recruitment and employability initiatives. Alumni are vital for sharing industry expertise, contributing to research partnerships and opening doors for future graduates.

The survey helps us better understand current alumni involvement and impact. It explores how graduates would like to participate in future community and professional development opportunities, gathering insights that will guide programming, events and communications across UNSW. The results will help establish baseline measures for belonging, trust, volunteering and philanthropy.
