The Australian Financial Review (AFR) is calling for entries for its annual AI Awards.

The Awards are designed to celebrate excellence in AI and honour innovators and leaders who are shaping the future with their remarkable contributions. This is an opportunity to showcase UNSW’s groundbreaking achievements in artificial intelligence that are turning research and education into positive societal outcomes.

Find details and judging criteria on the AFR website.

UNSW can only submit one entry per category in these awards, so we will run an internal EOI process to determine which entries go forward.

For the EOI process, submit the following details to louise.templeton@unsw.edu.au by COB Wednesday 25 February, taking great care to address the entry criteria for your chosen category:

  • name of entry (i.e. the strategy, initiative, partnership or name of individual)
  • contact name and phone number
  • applying organisation (and, if relevant, additional organisation/s)
  • 50-word summary
  • 500-word entry addressing the specific selection criteria for the relevant award.

Entries submitted directly to the AFR won’t be accepted.

If your entry is selected for UNSW, you will have the chance to polish your case before we submit it to the AFR by the awards’ deadline on 6 March.
