UNSW Deputy Vice-Chancellor Inclusion and Diversity, Professor Eileen Baldry, warmly invites all staff and students to join a special flag raising ceremony to mark National Sorry Day.

National Sorry Day acknowledges the Stolen Generations whose lives were devastated by past government policies whereby Indigenous children were forcibly removed from their families and communities. This day also recognises that those past practices continue to impact the Indigenous community today.

UNSW President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ian Jacobs, the Pro-Vice Chancellor Indigenous, Professor Megan Davis, and UNSW Law Aboriginal HDR Fellow and Associate Lecturer, Gemma McKinnon, will each give a brief address.

Date: Friday, 25 May
Time: 10:00am - 10:30am
Location: Flag pole area adjacent to the front of Clancy Auditorium (near Gate 9), UNSW Kensington
RSVP: By 10am, Friday, 25 May 2018. Please click here to register
