The first edition of the UNSW Lifelong Learning newsletter is available now on SharePoint.

The newsletter brings together stories, insights and case studies showcasing how Lifelong Learning (LLL) is partnering with faculties to expand our impact in post-experience education by meeting the evolving needs of working professionals, organisations and industry partners.

You can read the first edition of the newsletter and follow the LLL SharePoint site to stay informed about future updates and announcements.

Designed for all UNSW staff, each edition offers a curated mix of content from new initiatives and performance highlights to academic spotlights and case studies that demonstrate real‑world impact. Whether you’re looking to partner with LLL, stay informed or draw inspiration from successful programs and collaborations, the newsletter provides practical, relevant insights.

The March newsletter highlights the people and ideas shaping LLL initiatives. Top stories include:

  • an academic spotlight on Professor Stephen Doherty (Deputy Dean, Education, in Arts, Design & Architecture) and his work with LLL to extend the reach and impact of his faculty’s teaching
  • an announcement about AGSM Executive Education’s new AI-focused short courses, designed to help professionals and senior leaders apply AI in practice
  • a review of how the Learning Experience team in LLL are using AI-generated weekly podcast summaries in UNSW Online courses
  • an article on how UNSW convenes with respected leaders from industry, government and public policy to strengthen LLL and position Australia at the forefront of global competitiveness.

Established in late 2024, the LLL Strategic Business Unit works closely with faculties to support UNSW’s ambition to become a global leader in LLL. The newsletter improves visibility, strengthens collaboration, and creates space to share progress, recognise innovation, and acknowledge the people and partnerships driving this work.

You are welcome to provide feedback on topics, ideas and case studies for sharing in future editions.
