The statement reflects on the fifth year of sustainable progress in our efforts to uphold human rights and ethical practices.
The UNSW Council has approved the University’s 2024 Modern Slavery Statement.
In the year where UNSW ranked seventh in the world in the 2024 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, the statement highlights UNSW’s continued work to identify, address and mitigate modern slavery risks across our global supply chain and operations.
Our key achievements include strengthening our engagement with suppliers and implementing initiatives to support our students. These initiatives are underpinned by robust governance and a cross-functional approach that brings together expertise from across the University.
At the heart of the 2024 Statement is our mission to enable Progress for All. Whether through sustainable procurement, inclusive education or responsible research, UNSW is committed to ensuring the benefits of our work extend to the community we serve.
