This new course adds to the growing UNSW Online portfolio, which includes programs in Analytics, Applied Finance, Business Law, Cyber Security, Data Science, Financial Technology, Human Resource Management, Management, Psychology and Project Management. These programs cater to the increasing demand for flexible and engaging postgraduate content.

Graduate Certificate in AI Strategy

The Graduate Certificate in AI Strategy has been developed by the School of Information Systems and Technology Management (ISTM) in the UNSW Business School, in collaboration with UNSW Online. The program is delivered fully online and designed for professionals seeking to understand, plan, and lead AI-enabled transformation within their organisations.

Delivered in the accelerated hexamester calendar, the program equips students with strategic insight into emerging technologies, ethical considerations and organisational readiness for AI adoption.

“I think the strength of our Graduate Certificate in AI Strategy is that it deliberately connects current developments in AI to concrete business challenges – how organisations operate, compete and make decisions,” said Professor Eric Isaacson, Program Director.

“It's well suited to anyone who wants to develop both the practical skills and the critical perspective needed to use AI in a meaningful organisational setting.”

Applications open on Monday 22 June 2026, with the first intake commencing in Hexamester 5, 2026 (24 August 2026). Please share this new program with your networks and staff are welcome to apply if interested.
