Join the team that brings lived experience perspectives to University initiatives.
The EDI Staff Consultative Group compromises UNSW staff who draw on their unique lived experiences to offer insights into the challenges, needs and realities faced by individuals in specific diverse contexts or communities.
The group meets four times a year, as well as on an as-needed basis for urgent matters, to guide a range of University and workplace initiatives, policies and procedures.
Group members support inclusion and equity at UNSW through their involvement in consulting for projects such as the Inclusion@UNSW learning and development training suite, the Disability Inclusion Action Plan, and strategies related to gender equity and culturally and/or racially marginalised communities.
The group is looking for current professional and academic staff from various career stages and with a range of lived experience, including but not limited to staff from these backgrounds:
- culturally and/or racially marginalised communities
- parenting or caring responsibilities
- LGBTQIA+ communities
- experience of disability
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Learn more and apply now to join the EDI Staff Consultative Group.
Expressions of interest close on Thursday, 12 March 2026. Staff should gain approval from their line manager before submitting an EOI.
