Capture the spirit of Clancy the Lion in an artwork for your chance to win a $200 voucher.
The UNSW Event Programs team is running a Clancy the Lion art competition to display original artworks at the 2025 UNSW Community Day. They are inviting all staff and their families or friends to create a unique illustration of our energetic and proud UNSW mascot.
Draw, paint, watercolour, sketch or use whichever artistic method you prefer.
Entry guidelines
Artworks should feature or be inspired by Clancy the Lion. Your submission must be portrait orientation, A3 size and on a plain background.
Use any artistic medium – pencil, paint, markers, crayons or a digital tool but AI-generated work isn’t permitted.
How to enter
Submit your entry via the online entry form by uploading a high-resolution scan of your drawing. Alternatively, drop it off at the Chancellery Building reception (C22), Gate 9, UNSW Sydney.
If you’re submitting a physical entry, download and complete the entry PDF form and include your labelled artwork. Address your submission to Emily Oades, Producer, Event Programs.
Please keep the original safe in case the team needs to get in touch to re-scan.
Entries close Wednesday 3 September, 5pm.
Prizes
We’ll showcase the finalists and winners at UNSW Community Day 2025 in a featured exhibition and award prizes for the hero artworks.
Adults can win a $200 gift voucher to The Lounge and children can receive a custom-made plush toy based on their very own Clancy the Lion design.
