Twelve educators and two teams received UNSW Awards for Teaching and HDR Supervision and Leadership.

UNSW colleagues gathered at the Roundhouse on Friday 24 November for the annual teaching awards ceremony to celebrate our passionate and dedicated educators at the Finale of the UNSW Education Festival.

The awards recognise excellence in education; outstanding contributions to student learning and student wellbeing; and excellence in the supervision and leadership of higher degree research.

Five educators were also recognised with the heartfelt Students’ Choice Teaching Award, nominated and decided by the students themselves.

Professor Alex Steel, Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience, and Professor Jonathan Morris, Pro Vice-Chancellor Research & Training, announced the awards and Scientia Professor Vlado Perkovic, UNSW Provost, presented them.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate these educators and staff, and we congratulate them on receiving recognition this year!
