Register now for the Societal Impact of AI Symposium
UNSW students and staff will learn about the bold, ethical and human-centred role of AI in solving global challenges.
UNSW IT, together with the Division of Societal Impact, Equity & Engagement (SIEE), invite you to the Societal Impact of AI Symposium to hear how AI is empowering UNSW’s broader ambition to drive progress that benefits everyone.
This full-day symposium brings together pre-eminent global experts, partners and leaders from UNSW to showcase the responsible use of AI to make a positive impact on society. Our agenda brings cutting-edge technology and research to life via keynote presentations, talks, exhibitions, live hackathons and panel discussions.
The aim is for everyone to leave the symposium feeling positive about the future, better equipped with increased knowledge about how they can use AI responsibly, and united by purpose to deliver their best work.
The symposium will suit the curious, and anyone interested in:
- understanding more about our future when AI won’t just assist but will work side-by-side with humans
- experiencing the power of AI in action, with live shows, demos and exhibitions to discover how it’s being used – responsibly and creatively – by our UNSW thought leaders
- participating in a hackathon to problem-solve using AI in a sandbox environment.
This event is designed for professionals, researchers, educators, students and the broader higher education community. Whether you're working in AI or exploring its possibilities, there's something here for everyone.
