The online Societal Impact Framework Survey is available for the next two weeks and will close on 19 March. If you haven’t participated in the in-person staff consultations, please share your views and insights via the five questions in the survey.
The UNSW Societal Impact Framework is critical input for our new strategy beyond 2025 and will guide our strategic priorities, acting as an anchoring purpose for all that we do. It will build on our strengths and outstanding foundations to enhance our contribution to a healthy society and planet, enabling more people to have more impact, more easily.
All professional and academic staff contribute to our societal impact, and we need your knowledge and insights as we develop UNSW’s first Societal Impact Framework.
We are seeking your expertise to answer:
- What examples of societal impact stand out to you from across the University (considering both historical and current contributions)?
- What societal challenges and opportunities facing Australia, the region and the world should UNSW be working on to make a positive difference for future generations?
- What enables UNSW to have significant societal impact?
- What do we need to develop to increase our societal impact?
