UNSW students and staff are invited to learn about best practice cyber security.

The inaugural Cyber Security Summit will take place on Tuesday 28 May at the Roundhouse.

The program has been designed to educate, expand on existing knowledge and build awareness of trends in cyber security. This event will also provide hands-on demonstrations of the tools UNSW provides to keep the University’s technology secure.

You’ll hear from speakers covering topics such as the newly introduced National Cyber Security Strategy and what this means for the higher education sector. The Summit will also discuss the future of cyber security in the age of artificial intelligence. Interactive workshops such as capture-the-flag, code-bashing tournaments and roundtables are also included in the day’s agenda.

Whether you’re a seasoned staff member or just starting out, the Summit includes something for everyone. Attendees have the freedom to choose their own agenda to maximise what they take away from the day.

In addition, there will be opportunities for students and staff to network with the UNSW Cyber Security community, including alumni, practitioners, researchers, academics and sponsors.
