Protective Services has started rolling out new emergency guideline posters across all UNSW campuses.
The posters are designed to guide you during different emergency situations, and to enhance the University community’s safety and preparedness.
The posters are double-sided. The front includes clear, colour-coded instructions for various potential emergencies, making it easy to quickly find the information you need in a crisis. On the back is a bomb threat checklist. This tool is crucial for capturing important information to ensure details are recorded accurately in the event of a bomb threat.
Visit the Emergencies webpage for more information and to watch the emergency poster video.
Emergency poster roll out
The emergency posters have been distributed to chief wardens to install in all workspaces, labs and CATS rooms.
They should be installed at eye level, with the coloured boxes displayed at the front and the bomb threat checklist on the back. We recommend using Blue Tack, so the poster can be easily removed to access the bomb threat checklist if required.

The new posters are recognisable by the orange band across the bottom. If you require new posters for your area, please contact your chief warden or email emergency@unsw.edu.au.
