The popular Work-Family Support Program returns for 2024.

The Work-Family Support Program provides support for families on a range of common issues and help managing day-to-day parenting challenges. 

Through the webinars, staff can learn about improving their family’s wellbeing, parenting and child development. There are also helpful tips and practical strategies to better manage work and family. The Program is designed to help parents develop their confidence and skills, reduce family stress and be more focused and productive at work.

Work-Family Support webinars for 2024

  • 22 May – Personal Best Parenting: What good parenting is about
  • 19 June – Empowering Children: Developing healthy self-esteem
  • 24 July – Teenagers: Understanding the teenage brain
  • 21 August – Problem-solving: Raising children to be proactive problem-solvers
  • 18 September – Mental Wellbeing: Building positivity into family life
  • 23 October – Family Wellbeing: Nutrition, exercise and sleep

All webinars run from 1–2pm with time for questions and answers at the end of each session.

Staff can attend the webinars live to engage with the speakers or view a replay in the Resource Centre. Replays and downloadable handouts are available after each webinar. The Resource Centre also contains tips and other downloadable content.

Due to the change in UNSW’s Employee Assistance Program provider in 2024, staff will need to register for the 2024 program even if they were previously registered.
