This is your opportunity to nominate an individual or a team in this year’s Vice-Chancellor’s Awards.

Recognise and celebrate those who light up UNSW by actively demonstrating the UNSW Values in Action:

  • Embraces Diversity
  • Displays Respect
  • Builds Collaboration
  • Demonstrates Excellence
  • Drives Innovation.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards provide the opportunity to celebrate not only what people do but how they do it. By recognising how our colleagues go about doing what they do best, we can celebrate the stories that bring our Values in Action to life, and further shape our culture.

Nominate an individual or team before Sunday 5 May

To nominate a colleague or team, visit the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards app, and submit a description of your nominee’s contribution to UNSW and how they actively demonstrate our Values in Action. It could be the quiet achievers, the team-players, the great listeners, the collaborators and innovators, or the ones who make work a better place. This is your chance to let them know how they do what they do matters.

People’s Choice Award voting opens Monday 27 May

Nominees will also go into the running for the People’s Choice Award, with the most popular nominee voted for by UNSW staff. People’s Choice Award nominees will be showcased on the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards app where you can read about their unique contributions and submit your vote.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards event will be held on Wednesday 19 June, where the contributions of all nominees will be recognised, and the awardees for each Values in Action Awards category and the People’s Choice Award will be announced.

Individual and team award winners will receive a $5000 contribution per award category to be used for their professional development.
