Connecting, sharing and preparing: Flex-Semester Transition Roadshows

With engagement now well underway across the University, the Academic Calendar Project team has planned a series of roadshows.

The Academic Calendar Project team has been working closely with divisions and faculties to understand local impacts, coordinate planning and support operational readiness. Over the past months, working groups, reference groups and consultation forums have helped identify key considerations across teaching, student support, systems and space planning. This collaboration has been instrumental in shaping a transition approach that balances academic integrity, student experience and operational feasibility. 

To support staff through this next phase, the project has launched a dedicated Academic Calendar SharePoint site, providing a central hub for information, FAQs and project updates. The site will continue to evolve as planning progresses, helping schools and business units access the resources they need. Monthly updates will be posted to support oversight and planning across the University.

In the coming weeks, the project team will host a series of Academic Calendar Roadshows to share updates on planning, showcase examples of faculty and school-led readiness work, and provide opportunities for staff to ask questions and provide feedback. These sessions will be open to all staff. See details below.
