You’re invited to an interactive workshop that turns climate science into collective action.
What if a deck of cards could help you understand the complexities of climate change and inspire you to act? That’s the idea behind Climate Fresk.
Following the success of previous sessions, the next Climate Fresk workshops will be held in August and November at the Teaching Commons (F12). All staff are encouraged to attend.
This year, 200 students from Science and Arts, Design & Architecture faculties and 31 staff have participated, deepening their understanding of climate systems while exploring practical solutions together. The workshop uses a science-based card game to map out the causes and consequences of climate change, sparking rich discussions and empowering participants to take meaningful action.
Andrew Fellowes, Director Treasury, Invest & Insurance, really enjoyed the workshop he attended earlier this year.
“I highly recommend the Climate Fresk workshop as a fascinating and effective way to quickly understand the complexity and inter-connectedness of the global challenge that is climate change,” said Andrew.
“In the session I attended, I collaborated with students, teaching, research and professional staff to better understand the processes of climate change and the impact of human activity and behaviour on them.”
Whether you're new to climate science or already engaged in sustainability, Climate Fresk offers a fresh, interactive way to learn, reflect and collaborate.
