The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards provide the opportunity to celebrate not only what people do but how they do it through active demonstration of our UNSW Values in Action and UNSW Leadership Signatures. By recognising our colleagues’ contributions, we can celebrate the stories that further shape our culture and drive our strategy to achieve Progress for All.

When you consider who to nominate, cast your thoughts far and wide. It could be the quiet achievers behind the scenes, the team-players, the curious listeners, the change makers and innovators or the role models for self, task, project or people leadership who make work a better place every day. This is your chance to let them know how their work and what they do matters.
People’s Choice Award voting opens Monday 28 July
Nominees will also go into the running for the People’s Choice category, awarded by popular vote. People’s Choice Award nominees will be showcased on the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards app where you can read about their unique contributions and submit your vote from Monday 28 July until Monday 11 August.
The awards event
The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards event will be held on Wednesday 13 August, to celebrate contributions of all nominees. Awardees for each of the categories, including the recipient of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the event.
Winners receive a $5000 contribution per award category to be used for their professional development.
